Steve Sirico and Angela D’Valda Sirico have been industry leaders for over thirty years, performing, teaching and choreographing all over the world. For the past 22 years they have owned and directed a successful studio in Fairfield, CT, where they continue to produce students of the highest standard. They are renowned teachers of teachers. Angela and Steve are on the faculty of Dance Educators of America’s Teacher Training program. Steve is the author of his own Jazz syllabus and together they authored their Partner syllabus, both used for Teacher Training worldwide. They teach Master Classes in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical Jazz and Partner work all over the world including residencies in England, Spain, Costa Rica and Mexico. From 2003-2005 they were presenting faculty for Dance Teacher Magazine’s Summer Conference in NYC where they received the overall highest attendee rating all three years. In 2007 Steve and Angela launched DanceTeacherWeb.com, an online creative and business resource for teachers and studio owners nationally and internationally.
Connecticut-based co-producer Julie Davis is the former editorial director and president of Lifestyle Media Inc, founding publisher of Dance Spirit and Pointe magazines. Julie first joined that company to develop American Cheerleader and went on to oversee a total of 16 different magazines for LMI, many in the dance world. She was instrumental in expanding Dance Teacher Magazine after it was acquired from SMW Publishing and was the creative force behind the original Dance Teacher Magazine’s Summer Conference. Julie is also the author of over 50 books, including many on health, wellness and exercise, primarily for women.
