In places where different businesses offer similar services, competition can be fierce. In these markets, the consumer may perceive the services to all look alike. As are result, he/she often searches for the slightest bit of difference between various offerings to justify a purchasing decision. The consumer is practically begging for direction on what to buy and from whom they should buy. Yet often times, the service provider look to the short-term solution of promotional discounts, which almost always lead to an unstable client base. Successful organizations look to create perceivable differentiation to drive big results. In the world of dance instruction, differentiation should be an essential part of the brand. The more that dance schools look alike, the greater the value of differentiation. This presentation will focus on how to stand out.
