and in nightclubs in the Catskills (think Dirty Dancing) A sought after choreographer and a teacher to many successful dancers including Wayne Cilento, Tony award winner, original cast member of A Chorus Line and choreographer of Wicked, Tim O’Keefe, principal with the Houston Ballet, David Scala of La Cage Aux Folles and the most celebrated of all, Steve Sirico.  Steve and his wife, Angela bought Mikki’s award winning dance studio, a dance class in Westport, CT 22 years ago. Her students included Martha Stewart, Joanne Woodward, Eileen Heckart to name a few, she was featured in Dance Magazine, Dance Teacher Now, won every competition her dancers entered, represented the US in the Young American Dance Extravanganza with Baryshhnikov and her young dancers toured with the CT Commission on the Arts, the only amateur company to do so.

After 10 years as a studio owner and after her own illustrious dance career, she gave it up to stay on stage using her mouth instead of her feet. She became one of the top female speakers in the world.
