Some blame it on an accidental overdose of gamma radiation. Others say it was a bite from a musically gifted spider. Or maybe it was just something in the cafeteria food. How else does one explain Chad Michael Lawson’s transformation in a few short years from Purdue computer engineering major with no musical background, to composer/performer /conductor/songwriter with two invitations to perform with a choir at Carnegie Hall under his belt? Having done that, he decided to turn his attention to other creative avenues in life: dance, design, programming & marketing. Starting a web development company in Phoenix 1999 and growing it over a 10-year period was no small feat -which included weathering the ‘dot com bomb’ by the way. Chad had the advantage of being able to see inside of a lot of different businesses over the years -to see what works and what doesn’t. In the end, he was able to put together some kick butt marketing that took the best of all his skills and combined them with online marketing to actually get results his friend could take to the bank. Knowing the dance world, the marketing world, and internet development has put Chad Michael in a unique position to help dance studio owners and other dance businesses. Usually, it seems a person in the dance world is either business minded or artistic, but not both. His clients say he’s a rare find with the perfect marriage of business and art.
